In the ‘90s the Coppola family decided to create the Orto Molisano srl, to exploit the availability, in its territory, of fresh and genuine produce. The company was born with the aim of investing in produce production and processing in Southern Italy, and it soon specializes in puree production, becoming the main supplier for juices and comfiture processing companies. Thanks to the continuous investments in research and development, the Orto Molizano Srl grows quickly and gains quite a lot of visibility in the market. In 1999 the Orto Molisano Srl is incorporated by Coppola SpA, where it will continue its path of innovation and expansion, specifically for what concerns its product range. Thanks to research and development the company can now offer organic products whose viscosity remains unaltered also for long periods (12 months), as well as the aroma (80% of the starting level is kept after 12 months).

ORGANIC (BIO) AND BABY FOOD
Throughout the years, customers’ needs and market evolution have shaped Coppola SpA’s offer to the market, ever moving towards organic produce and baby food production. The Tomato department makes up 30% of the total production and it keeps growing, whilst the Produce department makes up for the 70%, with a growing share oriented towards baby food production. The organic produce production is shaped following the standards of the CCPP (Organic Produce Control Association, Bologna). The baby food department is 100% guaranteed and controlled; also, Coppola SpA makes it its aim to take extra steps in quality control to guarantee a 100% safe product.
