Quality is ascertained and monitored from provenance throughout the whole production process.
Tests carried out at our laboratories are regarded as essential.
FINISHED GOODS
When the tomato gives his best.
The raw material arrives to the plant and a first quality control is undergone at the reception.
Apart from the basic tests, others are performed to check: presence of alien bodies, maturation degree and rotting tomatoes quantity; if all the tests are passed accordingly to the required standard, the raw material is accepted and stored. The tomatoes then undergo another set of tests checking the Brix degree and the pH. Once the required maturation degree is reached, the tomatoes can enter the production line.
Throughout the processing of the raw material, the semi-finished product obtained at every step are checked for their Brix degree, pH, consistence, while also process control takes place. Finally, finished products are also tested.
Before commercializing the product, it undergoes more tests to guarantee only the best quality products get to the customers: incubation tests and physic–chemical, morphological and organoleptic analyses to ensure absence of micro-toxins .
